New phase completed in the transportation of a 196-ton transformer to the Valle Solar plant.

Altius has completed the second phase of the transportation of a 196-ton transformer to the Valle Solar Photovoltaic Plant. After its arrival by sea from Shanghai to the port of Valencia, the cargo was transported by rail to Almansa and then moved by road in different stages to the substation in Ayora. One of the sections required a night operation with total traffic cut-off due to its technical complexity.

For installation, a gantry was used to unload the transformer onto a shoring system that allowed it to be accurately positioned on its foundation. Once in place, the operation was completed by crawling.

This type of logistics project requires a high level of planning and technical coordination.

Altius has been present at the graduation ceremony of the International Commerce Degree, held recently at the Isla Verde Institute, in Algeciras. On this occasion, our company was represented by Susana Antequera, who attended on behalf of ALTIUS to accompany the new graduates in this important academic milestone.

For years, we have been working closely with this educational center in the practical training of students. This year, the Institute wanted to count on our intervention as a demonstration of the link between the academic and business environments.

It was a very special event, in which we were able to share the excitement of the graduates and reaffirm our commitment to the development of local talent.

We would also like to take this opportunity to give a warm welcome to Mario del Pozo Carretera, one of our recent graduates, who will now join our staff at ALTIUS Algeciras. We are proud to continue accompanying his professional growth, now as part of our team.

Last Friday, our team enjoyed an incredible day full of learning, fun and networking at one of the most important events in the logistics sector, La Fiesta de la Logística. Special thanks to Diario del Puerto and Propeller Madrid for organizing this great event.

This event turned #Coslada into the epicenter of logistics, with dynamic talks, live music, and of course, a delicious cocido madrileño that made us feel even closer to the Madrid tradition. It was also an excellent opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, clients and friends in the sector.
