Altius successfully completed the transport of 2 fully assembled loader cranes from the port of Hamriyah, UAE to the port of Aqaba in Jordan. Altius was in charge of loading, stowing and lashing the cranes, each weighing 520 tons. and dimensions of 60,000 x 22,000 x 30,500 mm.
The loading/unloading of the cranes was performed with a single crane on the vessel. To stow and lash the cranes, Altius had to place reinforcements in the form of 12 pillars per crane, which also had to be dismantled once they arrived at the port of destination in order to unload the cranes.
