On March 18, 2010, the following law was approved RD 214/2025, a new regulation that requires large companies and public entities to calculate each year the carbon footprint generated by their activities (scopes 1 and 2).

The carbon footprint is an environmental indicator that reflects the amount of greenhouse gases emitted into our atmosphere as a result of a given activity.
And not only that! The law also makes it mandatory to prepare and publish a 5-year emission reduction plan containing concrete targets and specific measures, aligned with international climate change objectives, such as the Paris Agreement, and the goal of climate neutrality by 2050.

Since 2017, we have been recording the carbon footprint of our activities. In addition, we monitor and verify our greenhouse gas emissions to ensure that their calculation and reporting meet the requirements of the applicable standard.
